If you want a laptop, the Lenovo looks like a decent option. But it is not going to create a new category of device, which is what Apple is going for. For me, a Slab does not replace the functions of a laptop – it’s for other kinds of activities.

Really good points all around. Oddly enough, the no-keyboard aspect of it might be actually critical. I think this will prove to be the first device that hits the right scale for the multi-touch: neither too big (Surface) or too small (iphone). We’ll see…

Good call, Phil. A SLAB. And seriously, can Apple just get it together and recognize Flash is used by a lot of people? Also, no camera and multitasking seems like an oversight even for release 1.0.
